Afternoon guys, hope you're all enjoying the weather?

Hoping someone can help....

I've got a 2006 Tuono R which I recently posted about a melted headlight.... Got that sorted and thank you very much...... I've disconnected the two low beam headlights and after a few miles on the bike today SERVICE came up on the dash and a little hazard symbol was showing on the top right.....

Is this because I've disconnected the headlights??? Should I reconnect them or is there a way of bypassing this?

Once again any help would be great.

Mark

I would think the 2 will be related and as for bypassing IMHO the canbus system on these machines should not be messed with.
easiest solution put the bulbs back in and see what happens

I thought they probably will be, if connected but bulbs not in place would this work though? Or is it picking up on the fact the circuit is not complete due to no bulb?

Get into the diagnostic menu and see whit code/s comes up for the SERVICE.

The ECU thinks the headlight bulbs have blown,...hence the warning. But yeah,...check the codes to be sure,...you dont want anything more sinister lurking in yer 'lectrics.

Ok,...lets have another go.
The ECU gives you a warning if the indicator lamps have blown, but I'm not sure about the headlight.Check the fault codes to give you a clue on the problem. It could be you have disturbed something while messing with the lights.
