Hi All,

I'm after a bit of advice. I've got a 2004 RSV that I want to sell. Problem is, its been standing in the garage for 4 years. Before then it was well well loved and given an occasional Griffing. Its in good condition, done about 22,000 miles.

So - How do I go about selling it? Whats the best thing to do with a bike thats been left standing.

Depends on your available time and skill. And whether you just parked it up or prepared it for a period of storage

Either sell as "been standing for four years, non-runner, needs re-commissioning"

Or try to get it going with a new battery, fresh petrol, brake fluid, oil, and get it MoT'd.

This might make it worth £1000 more than if it was sold as option 1.

But what will it cost?
