Seen these cheap stands on E-Bay, any comments?

Risk being the figurative word, ill be honest, they are budget and look budget. Wouldnt trust the weight of the RSV on something so flimsy. Ive been using the Biketek ones I got 3 year ago and there still very sturdy, I think I wouldnt skimp on something that could cause a lot of damage.

Have got the exact same set for my mille ,had them for a year and a half now and no problems .......for what your paying they`re worth it .The rear one is a bit shoogly and leaves you a bit nervous at first but thats just the way they are .

Have an Oxford stand for me other bike and it`s rock solid but quite a few ££ more !

bike should be rock solid front and back when on paddock stands or its gonna sound nasty when you brush past it and it falls over.
Get the oxford ones matey
ck

Sometimes you just need to hear it from other people, i'll not be a tightwad and get something descent.

Well Gents..... I bought these last year and they have happily held 2 R6's and my RSV. In fact only 10 mins ago whilst cleaning in the wind. Bike is rock solid. My 11 year old climbs onto my bike when its on them and it does not move. Really easy to put it up on your own and take it off. Sometimes price isnt reflected in quality. As a point look at my picture by my name, The RSV is on them on an uneven concrete path. I will happily buy again if ever i needed to. Hope it helps mate. Cheers

I have been using them for over a year ,rock solid, well worth the money, and only took a few days to arrive..
recommended...

They look better than the motrax ones I got for 55 quid for both. With the RSV on them the back looks abit pissed
But then everything for motrax is made from spit and blu-tac so...

Those are German though, not known for shoddy goods

nice find, at that price i may have to invest in some lol changing tyres is always an adventure.. the rear stand is well dodgy until its up but then its fairly steady.

but to get the front wheel off (i have no front stand..) i resorted to borrowing the small jacks from both my parents cars and putting one under each fork leg lol pretty hair raising stuff but when it can cost £80+ for a front stand i dont have much choice til i get myself a job and that subject is for another time.. ;)

When I changed the tires the other day we didnt have a front stand handy, one of us pulled the bike over the side stand once the front was all undone, while I took the front wheel out, then we lowered the forks on to a crate with the steering turned, so it was sitting on the rear wheel, sidestand and crate while we fitted the tire. It was really solid actually lol

i've bought from these guys before and there great considering the distance postage is pretty quick the products i havent faulted yet had my up and under yoke stand 9mnths nowshould add comunication was spot on too :)...also get some stickier for ya tool box ;) lol

Dito ive had these for donkeys done the service up on the stands changed wheels it was a bit dodgy putting the correct torque on the nut but every stand would be the same go for it mate ive taken mines to trackdays and didny get embarrised (thats the third attempt at trying to spell that bastard, **** it)and agree wi the guys the company are spot on .....

When I was 19 I had to stand on a milk crate to do some lanky bird I met in a club, happy days!

Think I'll risk the stands can't be worse than the tat I have got.

i have them. 1,5 year now. they are prety usable and the price is ubeatable. good thing about them is that you can shift the bike on them which i found usefull quite a lot of times.
anyway if you want to take yout the wheels these stands block both the front and back axels so you need to play a bit with it to get it out. as you see in my avatar it is possible though.

I have these Ricambi Weiss stands from and rear and they been reliable enough for me.

This summer in invested to Abba stand and its brilliant, but the Ricambi Weiss from stand works fine with the Abba. I also have the extension to the from so i can get the wheels uo from the steering axle.

For the price they are a good kit.
