I am about to purchase a '15 Caponord with ~6.5k miles. The motorcycle seems to be in great shape, but on cold start in the morning, there was a lot of fumes. The temperature was ~55 F and was very humid. The current owner is a very nice person and hardly rides it. I am assuming the vapors were from moisture. Any advice here? Is this a red flag?
The engine sounded loud (OEM muffler) to my ear. I am coming from ST1300, Goldwing, FJ09, and ST2 in the past 12 years, and must admit that I am not familiar with Aprilia much. I am currently looking for a lighter sport-touring motorcycle as I am getting old!
Any advice/suggestions/warning will be greatly appreciated. I wanted to really like the motorcycle, but feeling some hesitation.
