Second ride

its your engine and and box so its up to you.
im not saying you need to rag it
but you can hear the bike sigh with relief as it goes above 5k
chugging at sub3k revs cant be doing anything any good.

The engine is just getting into its stride above 7k. Its not the limiter at 8.5, its the rev warning light, which can be adjusted to any revs.
Don't be afraid to rev the bike, you will love it! Try it and see. :thumbup Its a bit like ***. :yes

The engine sounds like a bag of spanners at very low revs, sounds gorgeous once the revs start to lift

I know you are getting used to the bike op, but damn!

My bike would refuse to start if i rode it like that :dunno

She demands to be spanked and ridden hard at any opportunity (dirty *****) maybe that's why I love her :inlove

Aye, can't argue with that like.

agree, laboring the motor is not good, don't have to rev the crap out of it but also don't be afraid the work it a bit. Once it's been warmed up to normal temp give it a good spurt every now and then. Try and not keep the revs the same for a long time, not good as it will glaze up the cylinders.
