Gents: I will be putting down a deposit for a March delivery on a 2015 Tuono (not the new 1100). What are good options on seats? I found, like others, the stock seat to be hard as a rock. I understand that Aprillia has a gel seat that is more comfortable. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I have used these people for my last few seats HOME you send down your seat and they adapt it to your requirements, let them know exactly what you want, foam pads, gel pads, thickness ect, the finished product is of excellent quality and they are reasonably priced, I have also used this bloke Tony Archer - Classic and Modern Car Trimmer, Motorcycle Seat Specialists his work is also top quality, adapting your seat is a much cheaper option than buying a new stock seat, the prices of bike spares nowadays are f-cking ridiculous, I have been buying chinese spares off e-bay, levers, screens, body panels, even foot pegs at a 6th of the price of OEM spares and to date none of the chinese kit has failed

Was this a kit or are they ding a complete seat for our bike now?
I had their CF track seat on my Gsxr and loved it!

As above seat is fine if in leathers,feels a bit harder in me bike jeans but no worse than anything else i owned or ridden :thumbup

A genuine gel seat will cost about the same as modifying a stock one. Look at the 1100 seat as well.
Stock seat is fine. Not comfortable, but fine for a bike like a Tuono. The only reason I would change mine is to take a bit of height out, as I am a short arse. Don't think there is much scope for that though...
I've ordered the seat from the new factory 1100, much more comfortable than my 1000 seat and much cheaper the the gel seat, £60 plus vat.
