I pick-up my 07 Tuono (on an 08 plate) on Sunday. It has a bespoke seat cowl fitted - I can see that. My question is, does the seat cowl come as original fitment? or is it bought as an extra? Can I also expect a pillion seat as standard fitment? Thanks.

Not sure.I do know at various points in time extras have been added as sales incentives. Met a guy who had carbon fender/hugger & side plates fitted as standard on his 09/10 R. My 11 plate R was just standard but quite cheap. I'd imagine that some retailers may have also had their own in house incentive packages as well.
I'd imagine you should have the origional pillion seat included as well. Surely couldn't be lost so quickly.

Over time Aprilia & dealers offered their own specials all sorts of deals some had Akras some even had special paint jobs just luck of the draw when you buy a secondhand T.
The standard Gen 2 was supplied with a rear seat and the cowl was an extra - usually around £70
