Just wondered if anyone recommends someone where or someone that can recover my riders seat in alacantra ( that posh looking stuff they seem to have on race bikes)

do i yourself its easy,i did mine on my gixxer and it was great.
 
Bought a sheet from a upholstery company on ebay for a few quid. Warmed it and stapled it on. Will post a pic if I can

The new seat cover looks great! How much did you buy will the 0.5m be enough?! Also how do you fix it on, will staples work?
 
Just done mine the other week in red alacantara .....its man made suede .....got it for bout a fiver on eBay ...result looks just like hamsters once stretched and stapled on........sprayed it a few times with waterproofing spray so water now beads off it..........looks the dogs..and is much grippier in the saddle now and I don't bash my chords on the tank under hard braking lol.....:dowhat

i stapled mine on and left the original underneath. the sides can be a bit awqward to do as there is no solid fixing
