seat recover/repair

my rider seat on my 03 rsv has started to come way from the base dose anyone know the best way to re atach it ?

or even better know anyone that can recover it at a good price

or even better anyone got a spare seat they wanna sell me ?

hello mate,
1. to reattach it: just get some of that leatherette fabrci and cut a thick enough stip to go over the seat cover underneath on the base and then use a staple gun to hold it back in place.
2. to recover: there are quite a few places that recover seats - look in the back of the MCN (should be quite a few)
3. for a replacement: ebay has seat come up quite often

i got mine recovered in red in preston lancs. they came back like the originals only in red .i first went to an upholsterer who really made a mess of them DONT DO IT !!! go to a vehicle trimmer they are two different professions . see my garage if you want the location pm me and i'll try to find it for ya

ps they supplied the material and chrged me 45 quisd for both seats where as the upholsterer charged me 60 quid labour only and they were crap

are very good, can get seat reshaped etc and gel inserts as well if reqd.

Failing that give Baglux http://www.baglux.co.uk/ a call, as I think they

may do a recovering service.
