Hi Guys,

I am new and just posted a start under the new area. But I do have a question regarding the 14 tuono. I am just touching with my toes, maybe a little more. My dealer helped me set the sag at purchase and I know the bike will continue to break in a little , but is the gel seat from Aprilia any lower or is it taller. I thought I may buy one to help the height and comfort, but do not want one any taller. Also does any one have any experience with the lowering links that AF1 sells? Thanks...
 
Hi mate , firstly , welcome to the forum, I'm on a 13 , same predicament , I'm lead to believe the gel seat is same height , I'm having mine altered at a place called bootleg bike seats in Preston , lancashire , 1" lower + gel inserts approx £110 , but you can have done whatever you like , hope this helps
 
Thanks for the tip. I may try the gel seat and if I need to have one altered then at least I have a spare. If it is no higher at least it would probably be a little more comfortable. I was hoping to see what people thought of the links as well, but they may not be very popular. Then again I may leave the bike alone and just get use to it being a little taller, like my dirt bikes. Thanks again...
