Scottoiler removal

T

TinMan

My bike had a scottoiler on it when I bought it. I want to take it off as I think it just looks crap and also creates alot of gunge etc. However, it's connected to the throttle bodies, is it just a case of pulling it off? and if s what replaces it as its going over some sort of outlet pipe from the throttle bodies (right side, under the airbox).
Thanks
Steve

You just need an airtight way of covering the pipie in between the throttle bodies it was connected to.
They come with a rubber cap over it from the factory.

Get a new piece of pipe to replace the one that was cut to fit the oiler, quick nose in any scrap yard will find you a piece, and I would of thought you'd get it for free.
