hello peeps , ive decided to fit a sat nav to my gen 2 for an up coming tour to the French alps .

ive got a water proof bar mount sat nav case , and a waterproof accessory connector .

I would prefer to have all the stuff quick release and cant decide where to mount the acc connector , best place so far is strap it to the fairing mount

would appreciate some more sensible suggestions if you have a sat nav fitted to a gen 2.

Sounds like a similar set up to me...
i stuck the lead under the tank - it had a piece of velcro attached to it so i just wrapped it around the brake hose:

I placed the mount to the right hand side of the bars:

Finished jobby: (ignore the dangling cable - i moved it later)

To be honest i hardly ever use it...... we dont need em up here - we just follow Brooksy !!!!!

I don't get lost, but I am sometimes am unaware of my location or direction.:banghead
