hi all. as sad as it makes me the mille is up for swaps. i love this bike so much but i need something that doesnt have to be on an optimate every other day as its my daily ride. im looking for either another v-twin, or gsxr 750/1000, r1, triumph triple, zx6r b1h or basically anything else fun but with a bit of the japs/brits reliability! the advert is here and im only looking for something worth the same or less as my 02 rsvr, no extra cash to be spent by me. the ad is on pistonheads, http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3194317.htm
cheers everyone.

You`v not put a price? 33k! didnt think these things ran that long!? Its still got grunt? My R6 is up for sale but for minimum of 4300, obviously not in the price band your thinkin?

mechanically thse will go on forever! the engines and running gear are awesome, its electrically that you do well to keep these going! trick is that the engine is rotax which i believe is austrian, its just the italian bits that can be temperamental but i find once you keep it on an optimate its problems over with. didnt put a price on as pistonheads generally means you get lods of people e-mailing yuou saying youve advertised it for 50 quid less then mine so pay me 50 quid and well swap. couldnt be doing with fielding questions from the people that dont already know what its worth! your bike is well outta my price range, i reckon im looking 2500 grand-ish.

Im sure there was a thread on ere about supposed high milers a month or so ago, im sure someone has a mille in the 48k miles region and its still punching strong lol. Mines nearing 29k and feels bob on.

30 plus k mileage was high on 80s bikes .... nowadays its not but people are still obsessed with bike mileage

My 06 just past 51.000, doesn't smoke or use any oil..Electrics been fine and topuch wood still the original sprag. They seem to like being used not stored. That's the difference between Italian and other makes.
