It is with great sadness that I post this thread on behalf of my best mate Eric, I am sure that most of you will know him as Dynamo. Tragically and suddenly Eric passed away on Saturday 26th March 2011 at his home in Bonnyrigg, Mid Lothian. His wife, Linsey has asked me to use his details to submit this message. A funeral service will be held on Friday 8th April 2011 at Mortonhall Crematorium at 11:00 and all friends are welcome. The family have asked for no flowers but a donation to Depression Alliance Scotland will be collected on the day. Gary Hardacre (best mate since 1972).

OMG thats so sad. I had a few pm's with Eric, nice fella. Don't know what to say, gutted for the familly. Wish them well from all bikers, especially the gang with the big Prillas he loved. RIP mate.
Steve.

Depression Alliance... That answers why. Condolences to the family. Wish he would have got help instead of leaving so many loved ones behind.

shocked and deeply saddened by this news

I had the pleasure of meeting Eric for the first time at Cadwell only a couple of weeks ago. He had a wicked sense of humour and was definitely a rapid rider (overtaking me in most sessions). He obviously loved his bikes and I know he'd recently also bought his missus a Tuono to complement his RSV.

Deepest condolences to his wife and family

I'm so sorry to hear this, to say I'm shocked is an understatement!

I too had the pleasure of meeting him for the first time at cadwell a few weeks back. Great guy, with a great sense of humour who obviously loved his bikes. Was damn fast too.

Gary. I hope you don't mind but I've posted a link to this on rsvzone & aprilia performance as I know he was a regular on these forums too. Thinking of you & linsey at this tough time. Robbo
