Call me stupid...but...on the sachs rear sudpension unit on my 02 mille there is a black dial on the top ...is this renound or compression? ....& where is the 'other' adjuster for rebound or compression, looked at bottom of spring but cant see anything!!! Read tons of stuff but just cant find the answer.....can you help please cheers
 
Top is compression and there's a screwdriver slot near the bottom for rebound, naturally, in for more damping, out for less :)
 
BTW somebody posted a link to a manual on here somewhere - it's got way better info than a certain well known provider of 'workshop manuals'
 
On the front top is rebound bottom compression.....but on the back/rear sachs suspension unit i CANNOT find a bottom screwdriver slot??????
 
Sorry - my bad, your 02 bike probably has the type of shock with the adjusting ring just above the lock nut for adjusting ride height. The earlier ones had a screw driver slot - mine is registered 02 but actually an 00 bike
