Bought a saddle pad in the UK "bumbagforbikers" for the trip down to Le Mans. Bike had done 70 miles when I got in the ferry, so only 2nd ride out. It got wet most days. Got back on Monday night and found that the pad had stained the seat a lot. I've tried leather cleaner, water based detergents, wd40 even white spirit. Nothing has shifted the stain.

Anybody know how much a new one is in the UK?

Probably easier to get it recovered, seat covers are available on the bay.

I dont know how much the TV4 seat costs, but the RSV4 seat is very similar and is around £110.

Tell me about it ,im always cleaning marks off my red seat.looks like its the dye that's stained yours and that will be hard to shift.

I got my **** red seats recovered in lovely black Alcantara the coloured seats really let the bikes down IMO looks like a bit of old tarpaulin

sorry old post but the RSV4 seat is it less slippery than the tuono seat...reason I ask is have the yellow seat which I want to change to the RSV4 unit which will fit better with the tail end...however after getting a set of new leathers( been riding 20yrs in jeans! yes I know!!) I now find myself sliding all over the bloody seat....Alpinestars leathers they have a sort of fabric bottom section.......so need to improve the seat grip wanted this RSV4 seat to look good but if the same sort of grip then I think recover....thanks for any replys
