Hi all ( Well anyone that can help me ),

I am looking to get hold of any kind of literature regarding the 'torque' settings for both the rear & front wheels on my 2005 RSV-R Factory ?? The only info in this regard I ever find is 2003 model and previous..... Its burning my head out now !

Having just acquired the machine, having run nothing but Jap sportsbikes since 2008 I need all the help I can get with a view to doing a bit of spannering on it.

Previously a few years ago I had a '2000' Mille which I loved, and I really missed that V-Twin ooomph so I'm back, and I can safely say I'll be staying !

Many thanks in anticipation.

Hi mate, there are some manuals for download in the file vault tab at the top of the page, and also a forum for modifications. Failing that, there will be someone along soon who will know!

I'll have a look at these, cheers.

Can I ask, are they magnesium OZs on your Bol'dor ?? If so have they been powder coated. Mine are the standard blue OZ magnesium casts, and I have heard that it isn't as simple as having them powder coated such as with ordinary alloys ?? Any feedback would be really appreciated.

Cheers,

Looks like you have the same colour scheme as mine mate. I need to know the torque for all the pinch bolts etc & disc retainers, due to the sh*t weather I may as well make use of my time in the second bedroom ( Garage ) !!!!

Sorry, can't help you there. All I know is these are the standard cast wheels that came with the bike, original colour, sand embedded in the paint and all. How the powdercoating process is, I cannot say.
