that sounds about right, every 10,000km or 6,000 miles. 12,000 miles is a major service too I think, valve clearances, the lot. You might want to check the service book to double check, if you don't have one I'm sure you can download them from Aprilia.

No, it was a private sale. I will be doing the oil and filter change and air filter / plugs myself so can't really leave the mechanics to do too much I guess?
