It looks like me and the millie will never part now, so shes going to the ring in May, but what does everybody do for carrying luggage. I have a tank bag, yep magnetic feckin useless, I have a tailpack but is the R strong enough for one if I get a pillion seat.

Your solutions would me most welcome, ta

Dont have anything as flash as an RSVR, but for my council house reared RSV i use and oxford Tankbag and an alpinestars tech rucksack, and if theres not enuff space, thenm i turn my boxers in side out mid week. Panniers are for puffs.

Why not buy a subframe for peace of mind mate, you can always sell it on when you are finished with it, save you worrying that your bike will collapse whilst riding it abroad:thumbup

I'm heading over to the Ring again in June too bud, i'll just be taking my Kriega rucksack and tankbag for personals (wallet, camera, phone, passport etc....) Mine's the '00 model so magnetic ok!! I have a full set of Oxford Sports Humpback luggage (Tankbag, Tailpack and panniers) if you want them for your trip? Would the subframe support the panniers? Surely they will, No??? I can post them down to you bud to try if you want??:dunno

Thanks for the feedback and the offer of a luggage loan. I been trying out a rucksack this week, which is not too bad, may try to engineer an extension to the existing sub frame for a bit of extra support to take a tailpack.

I love and rate Kriega kit, recommended to me off this very site, i have a large pack that sits on top of the pillion seat, you dont even know it there, 100% machine washable and waterproof. Got a tank bag aswell, 2000 model also, so magnetic
