Hi all ...I have just taken the Black RSVR Factory out for a long ride today as a last affirmation before committing to buying it. I love it to bits but has 2 things on my mind that needs to be sorted out.

1. I am 5ft 7ins and the bike seems a bit tall as I need to be on tippy toes when stationary. A couple of times when stopping I almost lost my balance on account of the road cambering away where my left foot came to rest.
Is there a way of lowering the bike to accomodate a short arse like me?

2. I had a stiff neck after an ride as the handle bars seem a bit low and they are a stretch for me. In the riding position I had to crank my neck too much to be comfortable. Is there a way to either raise the handle bars or shorten the 'stretch' to make my riding position more comfortable ?

Once again thank you all in advance for all your help and advice...

Hi SOW,you can lower the ride height on the rear shock.Visit sister website /downland Aprilia RSV Workshop Manual.I found my '01 too low on the clip ons,so bought a set of Heli bars on Ebay.Hope that's helpful.Regards AL
