rsvr 04 fuel compsumtion

hye mates..

i juz wanna ask about rsvr 04 fc..
how far can rsv travel with full tanked(18litres)?

last sunday i rode from thailand to malaysia..
-i filled fuel fulltank (shell ron95)
-average speed 160-200kmh
-at 182km, fuel warning light appear..
-at 225km, i filled fulltank (only 13.4litres)

by calculation, 1litre = 16.8km..
that's mean, 18liter = 302km.

izit logic?

-03 RSVR about the same km range and my light comes up. Naturally it little deepens how heavy i an to the throttle.

With bikes i have always kept the km/l irrelevant... Its the fun factor I am after.
 
That is quite a good fuel consumption you have there, about the same as my 2002 Millé.

Kevin (on the forum) has the 2004 RSV, and gets something ridicilous like 10km per litre of fuel, he is busy getting it sorted!

i know its a good fc, but juz wonder, izit relevent? rsv can go up to 300km without refuel?? @ average speed of 160-200kmh..
 
Boys that is good. On the twisties i manage about 100-115 miles before the fuel light starts to come on. That is using some good throttle action. When i fill her up she will drink around 14 litres at this point.

If i'm just cruising say around 90mph, my mille will go for 130 miles + before the light comes on and she will still only take 13-14 litres to fill her up.

I reckon, if i needed to, i could get around 160 miles out of a tank maybe a little more. :cheers
 
Sounds about the same as mine. I would put it to the test with the trip meter if it didn't keep reseting!
 
I generally get about 150 miles out of my '07, 140 to the light first coming on and then riding it until it's on permanently. It compares with my missus on her ER-5 as we found out on our touring hol this year, when she said her gauge was in the red, my fuel light came on :)

I did get 160 miles out of it once, but that was riding very carefully and being prepared to get off and push! Too much worry involved there to do it again :)

Yes i suppose it can be done, by Fuel reserve light comes on at about 220km of riding between 160km/h and 180km/h, so that means an average consumption of 16.92 km per litre, then with the 5 litre extra at 16km per litre I can still do 80km, which equals 300km on a tank
 
I get 16mpg. The roads where i live are quite fast and flowing so it tends to bounce off limiter in first 4 gears but hey, ya dont buy a toy like these and do 50mph!
 
I've seen anywhere between 90 miles to a tank up to 160. I've never run out either!
