I seen a couple Mille machines dressed with an RSV4 tail piece but wondered how much of a faff it is....Get an RSV4 subframe and seat unit, cut off you mounting lugs and reweld them in the right place right....? Job done yeah....!!?
Wha'd'ya reckon ? Has anyone here tried this? :smilie

The trouble with our bikes they need a lot of room for the electrics and ecu it's hard work trying to do it on a gen 2 tail let alone a tiny rsv4 unit, why not try the gen 2 like me ill post some more photos of the bike tommorow should be finished :)

Very nice ! I was tempted....for about 20 secs !
Seriously, that's what I have seen I guess. I am doing a track day machine so, @£1k, and not painted - Wow but no thnx ! - Ive seen a knackered subframe for £30 and some plastic from CRD @£200 brand spanking ( & blk ) One of my concerns is losing leg room by using a seat kit, or seat pad in place of the original...!
Still, I might have to make an enquiry .
