RSV100R Bol D'or

Hi Guys,

Just bought a RSV1000R today in Bol d'or colours. She is getting delivered on 22nd so can't wait.

Just some questions you have probably heard before but would appreicate the advice.

Apparently the bike comes restricted - Is this true? What do you have to do to derestrict?

The dealer is fitting for me at a cost of £600 a pair of Akrpovoic SP Exhausts - Are these any good?

Are there any must have accessories for these bikes?

Anyone know if there are any matching lids or leathers for these bikes?

Anything else I should know or be aware of?

Nice one:thumbup, akro"s are the ones for me but some do prefer the arrows as they are louder :scared.Im sure the other chaps will tell you more as to what to do to de restrict your ride m8.:yes

Hi, Akras are very well made and have excellent back up support lkike repack kits etc and believe me, with a full race Akra system.its well louder(107DB's) than the arrows, even louder than the Tigs. Tho the dual akra cans are very small bore outlet types(unless you go for the dual evo full sysem) I think they are about 86DB's.? So good for the track.
whatever you do go for Ti not carbon cans, the vtwin power pulses make short work of carbon cans and they yellow in the sun too.
You can buy Aprilia branded leathers on the AF1 website.MY bikes an 02 so not sure about deristricing, I thinkits a case of swapping maps once you fit the cans. Apparently the clutch and back brake have some issues, I'm sure someone on this site can educate you on the later models.
