I hate tank bags and couldn't use my backpack as I had just had open heart surgery 3 months before and my chest was still killing me. The tail pack was full of underpants and pain killers enough for a weeks travel I managed 3 days before staying put in the hotel bar.
Yes the wife did go wild when I told her I was still going, can't let the lads down!!!!

Bloody Hell dude, Cracking looking bike mind 
Last time I popped out for a couple of days on the bike my bike looked like this, plus I still had more stuff I could of taken. To be far I was camping so thats a tent, air bed and sleeping bag on the bag too

wow riding a mille so soon after heart surgery lol thats crazy
am not as big a fan of tank bags anymore, would not be such a problem if it attached to the tank properly.. but i have a plastic tank, and the suction cups are temperamental little buggers.. did a U turn other day and the bag slid sideways.. thought i stalled the bike for the first time in 4 years.... nope the bag hit the kill switch 0_o
kinda neccesary when you cant get sidebags (exhausts too high for any make out there...) and you run out of room in tailpack & backpack, still its a fun challenge to see how much junk you can safely fit to the bike and carry somewhere lol
garvey - i see you are one of those maniacs who puts a £500 lid hanging precariously on the mirrors LOL hopefully it dont fall off

Nah she stayed on, its stuck between the screen and the tankbag, not going anywhere, that was my favourite helmet, still got it but old, faded and stone chipped

ahhh ok thats a little better i guess seriously cant believe when i see arai and shoei being dangled on a flimsy mirror... not with the crazy winds we been getting lately
funny bout the saddle bags, they still fit even the wrong way! i spent ages trying to figure a way to get them for my bike but every time they would be a little too close to the top of exhaust

thats my 99p ebay bargain, brought as one zip was bust, well it was an easy fix and fitted ZX9 nicely, Still got to try them on the RSV

cracking dude, nice colour scheme too, that anf the silver version is my favourite ones, the black like mine is nice but looks dirty all the time, or is just dirty lol

yeah i wasnt sure about the red scheme at first but its def grown on me.. just a shame it was one of the only years aprilia was too cheap to include a single seat cowl thingy to cover up the pillion pad.. so i aint got one and they are stupidly hard to find not to mention stupid money
really like the black ones though, considered custom spraying mine to be pure black.. stealth fighter style but i will prob keep it stock for a while yet
and yeah 99p for those? bargain! lol they would probably fit ok on an older shape mille less it has high level exhausts

her she is with the bloody long akra's I managed to buy. going to chop them down when I get some balls
If you ever get around to gettiing yours painted, give me a shout first, maybe we could swap fairings, that woudl save a couple of quid on painting it all black

Two months after these pictures I was back in for another OP. I am completely F****D for any more riding this year so this forum and Practical Sportsbike magazine is keeping me interested until 2012. I have used a subtle blend of emotional blackmail and lies to ensure the wife has agreed to let me go away again next year. She only said yes when I started asking for *** again!!!!!!!!!!!
