i;ve a had a set on mine for just shy of 4k miles & still have a fantastic brake that locks with ease

Did you remove caliper & raise to basically the seat height & bleed it in that position?

Has your back brake ever worked?

seen that paintjob before somewhere hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
sets are really nice seen them at the aprilia day top stuff:thumbup

Yep tried raising the caliper but with no joy:dunno
If the push rod is at its maximum adjustment theres a brake, but no free play in the brake lever, I was told there needs to be about 1.5mm free play in the lever or else when the fluid gets hot the brake will bind.:confused
The brake was great before!!!!!:rant

Nice set them mate:thumbup

Make sure you have the pistons pushed right back as far as they will go to squeeze as much fluid/air out from behind the pistons, i have a bit of wood i use to wedge in there to keep them pushed back while bleeding, it is imperative Sy to keep that free play on the pushrod or you will come to a grinding halt somewhere, probs in the middle of a busy road:pirate

Take the exhaust off and the brake line plastic holder so you get the caliper as high as poss, when i had that model i put a bleed banjo on the m/c as well which helped.

Do your bleeding and then try leaving the caliper on top of the seat overnight with a heavy weight on the brake pedal, this should do the trick.

I've got a set fitted, same problem as you. Thinking that the seals in the master cylinder could be knackered? :dunno

Very nice mate.
Just an observation but it looks like a bit of complex fluid tube routing to the reservoir - if any air is still in there, could it be being trapped along the pipe route (looks like it goes down where it goes into the frame area)?

Damn they look sexy .................the rear sets that is, shame ive run out of kidneys and other saleable body parts :-(

Badger you are now my official hero :thumbup
Exhaust off, caliper up and ten minutes later hey presto....a feckin back brake:doug.
