RSV ZONE.....weekend meet next year

Myself and a few others are in the process of putting together a meeting next summer we have a venue :beer2 organised already right in the middle of the country That we could use.:doug
We are going to get Southern Cross to come up to set you're bikes up for you at a small charge and bring some goodies with them.
And then we are going to get a couple of live bands to come and play we already have one lined up who is a member of the RSV zone so any more out there we would like to know.
So the big QUESTION who fancies it ,If we get good feedback we will start to finalise it and if any body wants to help in anyway or has got any suggestions or any damn good contacts who would like to donate a prize to a charity raffle I want to hear from you.
Like i said if the feedback is good we will let you all know a date.:thumbup

The date has been set the 12th July a good time to be had by all. It will be held at The Three horseshoes at Yaxley near to Peterborough.

As you know Sharky mate im 100% behind you and will do all i can to help, this is a great forum and deserves a good turnout, so come on everyone get off your arses and show some support for the forum :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup
 
Hey great idea anything i can do i will...............i will speak to Don if you want...already mentioned something like this to andy at Southern Cross and he said they would be up for it......... But if i can help i will be more than happy.... tentage?? anything let me know..
 
Sounds good to me !! i know i have been all mouth and no action so far but i have a lot going on at home with kid(NOT BEING WELL) , hopefully next few weeks it will be sorted !
And then i will help out as much as i can !!! :thumbup
 
I am a silly boy. Just mentioned this idea in another thread before coming to read this. Sounds like a cracking Idea!!! Count me in as long as I am not offshore!!
 
Hi there new to the site but have met Sharky.
Im the events coordinator from www.clubaprilia.net and after speaking to Sharky we decided that we could combine both sites for the club day, if that was ok with everyone on the site.

Clubaprilia have organised 2 events like this over the last 2 years but due the growth of the club we have outgrown the last venue.

We are affiliated to Aprilia UK who would also be involved on the day.
We have used Don and the Southerncross lads for the last 2 years, top men all of them,setting up peoples suspension on the day, so we will be asking them again.

The date for the day will be Saturday 12th July 2008, at a pub Sharky knows well and introduced us to, that being the Three Horseshoes in Yaxley, near Peterborough (just of of the A1)

If I am treading on anyones toes please let me know, but it would be good to get as many Aprilias in one place.

If its ok I will update this thread when things progress and I know more info about the day

Hi chaos and welcome,

I have mentioned to Andy about the day and he said they would be more than happy to come along, as long as they get plenty of notice for the workshop,:biggrin you may see them in some rather smart fleece's that they are getting:devious:devious. It sounds good both sites on the same day and as you say it wil be good to get all those machines together..:thumbup Went to your last one and i hope the pub that Sharky has looked at, has a large car park for the bikes and a grassed area for camping.:thumbup The last one was a bit of a pain as my bike sunk 4inchs in the grass that was with a disc as well,:dunno but it all sounds great to me, hopefully we will get a full car park and all have a great weekend..:thumbup:thumbup
 
Yes it is a lot better than the last venue, as I said we have outgrown that anyway. There is a lot more hard standing as well so no worries there.
We will have Aprilia UK involved again as well.
We are in the early stages at present but it will be good.

Do you not think we would be swamped by joining the others, I would think the 1st should be on our own, that way we put our names to faces etc.
Just my opinion of course
 
I have been known, I would gladly organise one, but would not like to steal anyones thunder
 
Opinion heard and yes was discussed so as a compimise what we are doing is we are going to be having our own marqee,we will have our own RSV Zone flags so our own members will know where to go but what better way to get a whole load of people together that share one passion the Aprilia.Along with ClubAprilia.net and the RSV Zone I'm sure it will be a fantastic day.I don't think we will get swamped in any way the venue is huge and the two groups will be able to help each other out which has already happened.
