Right I was wanting to do a twin conversion on my 99 mille. Unfortunately I was struggling to find a decent set of cans to fit the Falco pipes I was going to use. I saw a Leo Vince full system on ebay for a reasonable price so I thought Id take a punt at it ending up the winner. The bloke was spot on and had a garage full of bikes, even an RSV SP :w00t: With the help Of Col we managed to get it fitted despite wasting nearly an hour getting to a nut that was in an awkward place. After several trips around my neighbours house for extra tools we managed to get it off by using no fewer than 4 extensions lol. The rest was pretty straight forward :) We then went on to fit the Hooked mod airbox which came in the post last week. Excellent finish and quality tbh. Also Cheers Falco for all the tips on MSN :)

Thanks mate, yeah it does sound great but I wouldnt say louder than my Yoshi. Perhaps on par but a different note. I have an issue with the indies though, Any thoughts on some small aftermarket ones mate?

Wow that looks great fella, I might have one available to me from another forum member elsewhere. I'll sound him out, cheers!

Nice one, looks like the Wind farm near Tow Law ? Your bike looks mint with those cans :)

looking good moto:thumbup
them led's are a good idea get this month out the way and i think i'll get me some:biggrin

Smiffy the roar is mega! I was scepticsl over the hype but I'm pleasantly converted. I got a intergrated tail thingy sorted, got one from a mate of mine who had one returned to store. Should be here Thursday fingers crossed.

Looks lush mate, the twins is the mod I wish to do to mine but ti expensive, well thats what the wife says.

Looks really nice :)

And one more thing :)

What kind of pipes can you put on, only falco?

And do you need any other adjustments?

The down pipes are leo vince as well as the cans, I required a spacer for the sidestand and to cut away some of the lower fariing with a grinder. Having said that I dont think I needed the spaced to be honest but the new bolts looked shiney haha. Performance wise its a bit off in the mid range so Dr Rossi is gonna help me with a chip :)

I do have a set of falco pipes which look identical to the ones ive fitted for sale.

I would mind the preformance loss and extra weight because one more can. If ever, Ill get a mille 2-2 system.

But I like the looks and yours realy looks great

Its surely just the fueling mate, that will be sorted shortly. The downpipes weigh nothing at all compared to the standard ones so you loose some of the beef there. The cans are remarkably light aswell so your not putting that much extra weight on that you would notice anyway.

I also read that some people who put a mille system on a falco gained low end power, so might not be just the fueling. I already have a leovince slip on so no weight loss there.

For now Ill rather spend the money on a trackday, will probably make my bike go faster :D, but Im interested to see how this thing developes when you get the fueling sorted, keep us posted :thumbup

I wonder what kind of pipes this guy used.

And I also saw this system on a 2000 mille, the option to put the newer shaped rsv cans on would be great, because you have more options, like akra hex :)

I'll deffo keep you posted mate. Im not sure what system is on that 2000 but I know the Falco pipes I have fit for sure. Assuming the end of the link pipe on the cans fits the outlet on the downpipes I guess you could put anything on. That was my innitial plan at first. have fun at the trackday, ive yet to do one lol.
