Of course you can still hang around here mate.

Just no fuckers gonna speak to you now. LOL

What made you go for a BMW FFS?

BMW - Broken Man's Wheels..............................Its a mental affliction that seems to be an age independant disease.

lol lol lol

i know old before my time!!!!

carpet slippers and pipe next.:biggrin

my mates r taking the piss big time.....but im a big fatty i can take it.

would like to have won the lottery last night, then i could of kept the rsv and just rode it now and again.

but i want to do some serious touring this yr ,so had to get something up to the job,so got this,

FFS Patty

Sell it on and get the RSV back and put Heli bars on it, and go for a run perhaps you and Scott can get together ( god theres gonna be **** thrown my way now)

Hi, I'm the new RSV owner and Pat has my 1100s - a much underrated bike don't you know! I did 25k miles on it (BMW speak) - I will miss it. I might even buy a R1200s one day.
The RSV is pretty easy to ride (even with shot tyres!!) - I went past (& stayed past) a number of Jap 4's on the way home - including a Hayabusa and an R1 - so I'm impressed.
Saying that I would have probably done the same on the Beemer as they were pretty slow sunday riders.
Anyway all the best Pat - thanks for the bike - you drove a hard bargain! And hopefully I'll meet some of you local RSVers soon?
Cheers
Mike.

no worries mike,

I will cut straight to the point here. Mike. You might be a great guy and nice to kittens but you come on here and give 'BMW speak' in your FIRST line...
Its NOT an underrated bike, its just not rated.

For ***** sake. What the **** is going on with the world today.

ps. Are you fat?
pps. Do you have Mutton chops?
ppps. congrats on buying a sensible motorcycle... that will piss 25,000 of hardcore thrashing (rsv speak) you will, i hope, learn quick...

oh my god patty you've turned into a SHAFT DRIVE CHROMOSEXUAL

when you look at the bmw you will miss the rsv me thinks i tried going from sports bike to z1000 and it never did it for me , everytime i looked at the z1000 it looked proper dull to me,i know you could say the 1100s is a sports bike but you know what i mean . but hey you can now have some big metal panniers and a massive dodgy beard :confused

hope you made the right choice for you bud :thumbup

ps no offence meant chromo :nana all in the name of fun:biggrin

Old habits die hard - sorry. No more mention of super high mileage, 6k miles per set of tyres, how much gear fits into the panniers and how many miles I can get per tank of fuel...
I did 2.5k miles on my Buell before the exhaust fell off - hopefully the RSV does not have Buell like reliability?
Cheers
Mike.
