Mr Tamburini nailed it with the 916 for sure.

But who designed the original T/RSV. I mean come on..... Ray gun rear lights for starters, swingarm, red dash......
Unsung hero

Heard on the box it wiz a Nesbit that designed the gen2 T, dunno if he wiz responsible fir the rsv anall.

Starship Enterprise wiz meant to be the thinkin behind the bikes rear design.

Suppose he thought he wiz a Scotty descendant.

It's sort of coming back through ma alcohol befuddled napper that it wiz the fetted Mr Tamburini that wiz responsible fir the Gen1s design.

I've had a few apple juices so don't quote me please. :cheers :dunno

Whoever did the rear must of had some clout for sure. Loved it from day 1

The great Tambo worked on bikes for Ducati,MV,Cagiva and Bimota,........but not Aprilia.

I dont think that the origional RSV Mille was designed by any one person,....more like a team, with someones final yay or nay.Dont forget,at the time,Aprilia was a very small firm.Boss man was Ivano Beggio,...so I guess he had a fair bit of input there.
The Gen1 Tuono is basically a Mille with high 'bars and a smaller fairing. It was concerved by Aprilia's R&D department. There was an interview with the man in charge of development in BIKE about 18 months ago.
