it says its a plastic tank???? i know my factory t is a metal tank? is this ad bs or did they make a plastic tank? and look its too cheap? nicked and stripped and put on ebay???

if they did make a plastic tank it would be a mod to my t as its much lighter but my bs detector is flashing?????????????? what do you think?

The gen2 bikes defo have plastic tanks (don't know about Gen 1) so if yours has a metal one you must have some kind of aftermarket tank on !

My gen 1 factory and my gen 2 both had/have plastic tanks

Hmm,I read that Ducati could be in the **** over their plastic tanks in the U.S.The hefty ethanol content in U.S petrol has caused tanks to deform and leak.

We do have a small amount of ethanol in UK fuel but not enough to damage tanks.Saying that,I have heard of a few leaky 848/1098 tanks.Classic bike owners are farting as the ethanol can melt the old fibreglass tanks found on some Nortons,BSA's and Enfields.

No, they are not metal bbut of a plastic composition . Just give it a tap (Ha, Ha,) .

Fibreglass tanks were banned ??due to being dangerous in an accident.
Reliant robins (Puddle Jumpers) were known for bursting into flames in crashes.

Only in the U.S,I think.
BSA swapped their f/glass tanks for steel in 1969 for the U.S market.

Yeah Garry Aprilia always fit cheese wheels Tuono R's have cheddar wheels but the Factory ones have Forged stilton, only a special cheese magnet will stick though!

you need to use a microsoft wheel mouse, it will stick to a cheese wheel..........

I thought it was mozzarella due to being Italian craftsmanship
