hey guys this is also my first post and i really need help to get this bike started. i bought the 2002 rsv mille about 6 months ago, i simply love it, but one day gettin ready to ride it and it just wouldn't start. the battery was fine but i was hearing a ticking noise from one of the relay under the passenger seat. now about few days ago battery was done too so i have changed the battery but still hearing the ticking sound i can actually touch the relay and feel the ticking, and its still not starting. can someone please help me with this...thanks

yep go buy an uprated relay....and an uprated battery btx14s or what ever about 220 cold cranking amps same size as standard
Theres a replacement yamaha relay /starter solenoid which is pretty good

Does sound like the relay.. Make sure you remove the battery before trying to change that..
Unrelated to your fault but worth a mention: Read up about the sprag cluctch, I only had my bike for 2 weeks before i killed it.. £350 later and its perfect now.. was 10 years old though..
