For Sale

Aprilia RSV/Falco headers complete in very good condition. I have stuck them up for sale on Flea Bay for £60 plus £10 delivery (Actual delivery cost to the UK mainland excluding some remote post codes, if you live in the back of beyond then PM me and I'll get a delivery cost for you) but to any subscribed forum member £50 plus delivery (If you collect then no delivery, PM me for my full address).

Bought recently as I was going to do a twin exhaust conversion on my 2001 RSV but I recently managed to bag a Gianelli twin can conversion for silly money so my project is cancelled.

Hi mate, I'm very tempeted to take those pipes off you but I'm a bit of a newbie with the RSV, should the pipes bolt straight on (rsv 2002)? and what else is needed apart from the cans and hangers? Is it just the link pipes?

Sorry for the question just would like to know what I could be getting myself into.

Thanks

Yes mate, I bought them as I was advised that they bolt straight on to the 2001 - 2003 RSV models, then all you need is the cans, link pipes and hangers.

You do have to make a small cut in the lower fairing just behind the side stand to allow the rear header pipe to exit the engine bay. Some guys on here have a template for this, I'm sure they would let you have the dimensions so you can make one up.

All said and done if you have average mechanical aptitude this mod is relatively simple and the benefits are well worth it, the exhaust note from twin exhausts is just that little deeper than a single and sounds lovely.

In addition to my response can you supply me your phone numbers too, landline and mobile if available?

LOL I know what you mean, I had picture but no sound for days when she found out I had bought these. You should have seen her blood boil when the Gianelli Twin system arrived. :roll

Keep an eye out on Ebay for these, they do pop up now and again. Check out the bike breakers too but be careful as many of them haven't a clue what the actual bikes are that they are breaking.

Heh! if only the wife knew how much I have spent on the bike lately :devious
I think she hasnt said anything yet cos she is gonna hit me with a big spending spree soon and knows I wont be able to say bugger all.
