Peterborough...oh dear..
Just about to go for the whole Nera carbon fibre kit, :doug Full fairing, seat unit, tank, just wondering if anyone has any experience of the ilemberger stuff ??
Or any alternatives if there are any, but i cant em if there is
Bike is an 05 model.
Total cost is about £2500, think i would rather do that than go and order a new v4.

I agree £2500 is alot to spend on some carbon fibre fairings. I'd put it towards a new RSV4

I accept it's a bit of cash but no kids ( only me ) and i dont have anything else to spend money on
Off to the carribean for new year so thats my holiday
and the girlfriend cant sit on a new rsv4 ( not even a dwarf could sit on that pillion pad )

me no kids either=full carbon mille=175Kgs-wet!!!
Try looking at OPP racing in canada they do good CF.
geez a shout if you need further advice.
Ck

Any of the decent suppliers / manufacturers CARBON will be good for years to come mate :thumbup In fact theres no reason why the carbon shouldn't outlast the plastic parts on the bike ......

Yes ..... there is some so called CARBON sh?te out there, the Ilemberger stuff is good quality tho and you wont have any problems, even if it is a bit pricey.

I got one of my own carbon items that has been weathering on the garden shed roof for 10 years now and a quick rub down of grime and polish brings it back up like new :biggrin

Would love to see some piccy when your all kitted out ....... :devious

lol my bike cost me £2500

should look smart, but not sure what the life span is like on carbon?

Me too, paid £2100 for my RSV and have a wife, four kids a dog and a gas and electricity company to support.

I've spent a few hundred on mine so far and would love to spend £2500 on carbon fibre.

Go for it.
