Hi All. Once again thanks for all your help. I have now bypassed the sidestand,
the clutch is still slipping badly. I removed the slave cylinder, the clutch was fine. As soon as i tighten it up the clutch slips again. I removed some fluid as it seemed ok untill i pumped the lever. It seems as if the the clutch is not returning properly

please help. I'm badly wanting to get it back on the road and having a blast.

i would put money on it being the cllutch lever pushrod. If the pushrod doesn't return far enough the piston doesn't uncover the fluid return hole so you in effect you pump up the clutch each time you use it.

Did you fit an oem lever ?
what sort of free play is at lever before it applies pressure.

Thanks for reply.

I removed the whole lever, then realized i only needed to replace the arm so i refitted the main body with the push rod and fitted new arm. I bet your correct.

How do i re-seat it propperly.

In theory if it's the old pushrod it shouldn't have moved. You didn't over tighten the lever pivot did you ? If it's too tight the lever doesn't fully return the last few mm. If you need to adjust the pushrod you will find a small grub screw on it which allows you to move the pin in and out and then lock it back up.

Hi, I removed the slave cylinder last night and the clutch is still slipping. Is there any ajustment on the clutch. The clutch was fine untill i dropped it on the slave cylinder side so cant think what it could be. It slips that bad that il doent move when in gear,

There is no adjustment in the clutch itself. I would pop the clutch cover off and have a look. Maybe the pushrod has jammed and is holding the plates apart.

Hi. Thanks for help. All fixed. The 1st metal clutch plate had slipped and holding clutch open.

Once again, thanks
