Does anyone know if the chip in the 99 rsv can be mapped or would i have to change it? Also will the rp58 run in my bike with rsv ti can and k&n filter and if so where can i get one of these chips? Still learning about all this so advice would be appreciated.
 
Yes your bike will benefit from a RP58.
Members have them laying around for let's say 25 pound I gues.
You should cut the wire on pin 16 to.
Do you want to go for a bit more you could get a Semi custom one :devious

Will my bike be ok with the standard chip at present? I think i will start with the RP58 if i can get hold of one and see how i go from there. Not really looking for much from my bike, just want it to run smoothly with can and filter. Thanks.
 
Get a DrRossi EPROM mate, they will make the bike much smoother and increase your smile per mile. :thumbup
