Rossi to Honda , gonna have a bet on that at the bookies , think theres been some talking going on before French GP

Honda like to win and so does Rossi

Eddie, I would not bet against you on that one. I did read an in depth interview with Rossi where he says ' The story can not end here '. It does suggest to me that he would try another season at least. A point of interest is the fact that Jeremy Burgess is not his crew chief anymore. We tend to forget that behind every Champion there is a Champion crew chief.

Well the top man at Honda annouced there would be no way they would have two Spanish riders in the same team , and that he had offered to almost double Caseys Stoner money for him to stay with them , in the world of big buisness memories are very short when theresmoney to be made , if share holders want it , they get there way

Jerry not his crew chief ? He was last time i looked.

Won't happen, Honda don't compromise at any cost and hiring VR would be a policy reversal and they just don't do that. He might get an LCR bike but not factory.

If anything Lorenzo is more likely as he is out of contract at the end of the year. VR if he goes anywhere will likely go to Yam as the door is not slammed shut but i think he will stay at Ducati. He won't want that chapter to be remembered as a failure.

Spoonz thanks for pointing out that Jeremy Burgess is still Rossi's crew chief. ( I think I've read somewhere in a magazine at end 2011 that he might not stay on.....and that stuck in my mind and then one of my braincells decided to mark it as fact. Need to find that little f*cker and toss him out ). That will teach me to make a statement before checking up again.

I've just searched ' Jeremy Burgess News MotoGP ' and get a couple of ' hits ' with articles containing interviews with Jeremy. Interviews with him is always a worthwhile read.

JB missed a couple of rounds last year as his wife has cancer but no mention of retiring yet although it is a distinct possibility if she needs him there. That maybe what you saw.

Head honcho at Honda has said on live TV that Rossi coming back to Honda was not out of the question, that's a massively important statement to make.

I'll have a tenner on Rossi to Honda next year.
