Spent another excellent day with Hopp Rider Training at Cadwell yesterday. One of the instructors, Barry Salmon is an instructor at the Nurburgring and was telling me about this excellent opportunity to go and learn the ring, on a closed circuit. Sadly I cant go this year although will be pushing for it as an Xmas pressie this year so I can go in 2010.

See what you think.

Aye, its very expensive. Combination of a price increase and the weak £££.

A few years ago it was €1,200 which was more like £850/£900 which was a steal....I should have done it then.

I know you don't get the closed circuit but part of the fun is "racing" against a few wannabe's in Porsche's and Scooby's!

Just plan a trip there anyway, taking in the Mosel and the great roads around the area. Did it myself last year but I was on a ZX7R and not the Tuono :crazy

I've got a trip there with a few mates in June anyway this year - cant wait - third time for me!

Jammy git! :lol

I should have been going again this year too but couldn't really justify the expense to the missus! :rolleyes

Home improvements spoil the fun sometimes :thumbdown

Fair dos. Four of us are going. Return ferry Hull-Zeebrugge with meals (5 berth deluxe), 2 nights in the Ringhaus hotel, 8 laps each, all food beer etc about £500 - not too bad I reckon!
