...and they are calling all Mille owners.
I got this email from [email protected]

Hello

RiDE is doing a feature on the enduring appeal of Aprilia's big V-twin
sportsbikes - and we want to hear from you! Nobody knows as much about the
bikes as their owners and we'd like you to help us tell the world what makes
the Milles so great.

So could you reply, telling us what makes your bike so brilliant? We'd like
to hear about the best thing you've ever done with it.

It'd be brilliant if you can also give us one tip - it could be something
that makes living with the bike better, or something to check when trying to
buy a good one.

And perhaps most importantly, we'd like to get a picture of you with your
bike. We need JPEG (jpg) files. We'll print as many as we can.

Thanks for your time - we hope you'll have time to reply. You could see your
words and your bike in RiDE.

The RiDE Team

I reckon it is our duty to spread the word about our big V's, plus, they will print our pictures...

Shame it doesn't include the Tuono!

I get the mag every month so can't wait for the article/feature to turn up!

Do the bike proud boys! :thumbup

"Dear Mille riders, please could you write our article for us? Thanks, the boys at Ride." :D

Like to see photos credited.

That's about right!

I was reading MCN from last week and the bloody editor is claiming that Ducati are making a new Hypermotard style bike because MCN said they should. Or something to that effect!

Bollocks!! :jack

Yep, got one of those e-mails.....would be worth bigging up the Zone I think!

i just wrote a huge A4 piece went to attach an image and it all got deleted :( cant be arsed doing it all again now

I can't believe people fall for the adverts that you see in the bike press from time to time:

"We are looking for new feature journalists. Please submit 3 ideas for features and how you would cover them, as part of the application process."

Or, (sic) we can't be arsed thinking, write most of our features for the forthcoming year, and there is no job - thanks. :)

Perhaps they won't just plagarise the article that was in PB back end of last year, someone off here was in it, weren't they?

Problem with journo's is that they get so wrapped up in describing the newest, blingiest bit of race rep bike on the planet...REAL WORLD attitudes are hard to understand/translate.......i.e. why would people stick with an 'out-of-date' bike that hasn't got satellite controlled throttle response or laser driven brake calipers....Mmmm I wonder!

I got that too...i'm gonna say they're **** :eatcorn otherwise they'll end up being as common as Gixxers if everyone wants one :nana
