Hi guys I have a 2008 tuono factory and the rev counter has stopped working everything else in the dash is ok anyone tell me where the rpm sensor is or if it gives trouble please

Might be the needle has come loose on the spindle.(yes really!)
Pretty sure the rev counter gets its signal from the crank sensor.I would have thought the red triangle of doom would be lit if the sensor was donald ducked.

There's no fault codes showing but the needle isn't loose theses no movement at all from it

The sensor is probably ok.You will get a fault code if it stops sending a signal.
Could be the needle spindle has come away from the motor.

Is this a common problem with the tuono? I presume the clocks have to be stripped to fix it

i may be that a previous owner stripped them to fix the fogging issue i did mine and had the same probs

I remember someone had an issue with the motor that drives the needle.

Seems whitever, yer lookin at strippin the clocks mucker.
