Hi can anyone help I have bought a set of used clocks for my 08 Tuono as mine had fogged completely and are un readable.

I plug the new ones in and the bike does not run. Is this Aprilia voodoo.

Can i set them up myself or is it a dealer issue.

Many thanks Geoff

Had mine replaced under warranty, i know the keys have to be programed(coded) to the clocks, but dont know how. Anybody??

The clock will work if you have the code.
Is it new ??

The clock itself has the imobilizer so you need the code .

If you don`t know it you will have to start guessing ,eg. 00000, 11111, 01234 etc

After you get in then you will have to input the service code , 34543. Not sure on this but look in here http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/forum.php

Are the clocks asking you to imput your user code?

Thanks for the help guys have sorted it. Clocks were asking for the code so started guessing was 12345, then bike would start accessed diagnostics using code 13432 then did key change follow instructions and isert both keys within 20 seconds.

Now when i put either key in it starts without asking for the code.

Hope this can be of use to someone else.

Many thanks Geoff

Someone please bookmark that info!!!!!

I bought clocks last year for same reason and could not get em working, despite having been given a code. Eventually got my cash back, but guy wasnt happy. Nor was I!

Now using original clocks but with no working rev counter, as the moisture fecked em. Still pisses me off that wasnt a recall issue.
