has anyone ever fitted this chain and what chain tool did you use for the rivits as the pins are solid my chain tool looks like it only does the hollow rivits and not the quad stake ones this is the tool i have now
any help much appreciated

Hi I've not used one of these chains before but you should have a soft link in the kit. I use a grinder to remove the old chain and a lump hammer and a nut hammer (ball end hammer) and a ordinary hammer. Get a mate to help you as follows. put new chain on place the lump hammer behind the soft link making sure it's tight against the link, using the nut hammer place the ball end over one of the pins and give it a wack with the ordinary hammer then the other pin do this till they are bevelled over. Or go out and buy a heavy duty chain splitter, normal about £40 +

nice one mate got it sorted now just needs go for mot now all the work is finished
