Have you tried the belt handles sprocker sir? They are a great way of not needing a grab rail, but are confidence inspiring for pillions. A lot cheaper to boot :thumbup

Kiwi am not sure that will fit as its off an 02 model, I tied sourcing one sprocks and couldnt get one anywhere as renntec stopped maikng them years ago for the 2000 model
I have a Renntech grab rail off a 98-00 Mille - the difference between them you can see with the 01-03, the fitting to the lock is very square on the later model, and rounder on the earlier model.
I've used my Renntech once on a trip to the IOM 2 years ago, and am open to offers as I no longer have that year Mille.
I'll see where it is later as I'll be photographing other stuff that will be for sale as well ...

Already got one of those Cat :thumbup but on these bikes the engine braking makes a pillion crush ya nads :biggrin
Yeah looked at that too Kiwi but as STL says it wont fit an 00 model.
Renntec still have them on there Website Stu, did you try ordering one from there :dunno

Sprocker - see below for pictures. This was fitted to my '99 Mille.
The grab rail is pretty much in great condition - there's the occasional mark, and a bit of surface rust on one of the welds (see picture), which would rub off if you could get to it! You won't see it once it's on the bike.
There's no bolts - I didn't get any when I bought it off Ebay a few years ago - iirc I just used the standard bolts which fit the seat lock, that it sits under.
Make me an offer by PM! There'll be some postage costs as it's not light!
