Renegade Kit (I think)

For sale on German Ebay - it looks like a Renegade kit to me, although the description says they don't know who made it..

Item number: 160314511123

I might be letting the cat out of the bag here, but I've bought stuff for the Mille off German Ebay before and have found the Germans to be punctilious on both the listing of parts, and their transactions - you get to know the terms after a while e.g. verkleidung is fairing.

The PITA is that most of them don't accept PayPal and you have to do an international bank transfer (which costs c. £15), but I was able to make savings on some of the more costly items available here - particularly when the euro/pound rate was a lot better.

Might work out cheaper?

Southern Cross have got a few in. picked one up last week.

Fantastic bit of kit. Better response and the change in the induction noise is incredible. Can't recommend it enough.

Why didnt you have one of Hooks filters!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is selling them in my opinion better than the other well know brand,
Just look at the feedback from people on this forum that have purchased them, look the mutt nuts and quality is 2nd to none.
Hooked's filters range from I think £130 -around £157.......I was mugged at £120 for a 2nd hand one, and Southern Cross wanted £186 !!!! Hooked wins every time in my book,

I wasn't aware of Hooked's filters.

As you know, it's is a very simple kit and I thought it was expensive before i heard and felt the results. If you can get the same results for less money, I'd go for it.

Southern Cross are doing the carbon renegade kit for £147+VAT and I'm really pleased with it. I dropped in for something else, saw one on display and bought it. there are very difficult to track down. If I'd seen one around or seen the alternative, I would have picked one up much sooner.

I can't view Hooked's photos for some reason but if he's doing somehting that gets the same result for the same or less money, that would be great.

The main thing is getting rid of your airbox and getting all that lovely extra air in. It makes a huge difference.
