Half interested in a renagead airfilter but they are a little pricey, Im sure I read on here somewhere about someone doing copies and not in carbon? anyone have any ideas? :devious

Aprilia Performance. £120 They do a copy of the Renegade. Trying to find more info on how good it is myself.

You will need a K+N air filter if you get one. That's what Sharon from AP emailed me anyway, but im sure i've seen Renegades with Pipercross air filters on. Maybe someone could clear this up for me. Didn't think K+N were much good on these bikes.
? xps quoted me 140 for a renagade airfilter, im assuming that these come with a pipercross filter? so if I buy a rip off for 120 and by a k+n extra for say £20 (?) then i might as well buy the renagade lol
"Yes we do our own air box £120.00 with a K&N air filter." - guess I will find out tomorrow when i call to see if it comes with or without the K+N. So a Renegade from XPS if £140 + the price of an air filter? If AP supply the K+N then that's a serious bargain.

the xps one are renegade copy i have one on mine and there a great and come with pipercross and oil breather i think griffs are the same is the £120 for the non carbon one ?

K and N must be ok cos mine put out 128 bhp at Rocket Centre today, im not a bhp chaser its just as it is, i have a standard airbox with k n fitted , redratbike link pipes and 1 into 2 renegade ie the ones tucked under the side of seat. i once bought a second hand carbon renegade with piper fitted but decided the noise might be a bit much so i got shut, glad i did now cos of my dyno readings.

Our filter kit is a replica of the renegade, it comes with a pipercross filter, breather filter and new breather pipe. At the moment we only do a carbon one but are looking at getting carbon kevlar plates, these will be slightly cheeper probably ￡125-130. Hope that helps.
