Hi all,

A bit of advice if i may... i need to replace the above on my RSV-R Mille and realising this is a plastic tank i wanted to know the best way of doing it? If it were metal then i'd just peel them off and then use a bit of white spirit to get rid of the glue :dunno but i'm assuming this would damage the plastic tank paint?

Any advice? :eatcorn

I warmed my tank pad up with a hair dryer and peeled it off. I then used wd40 to remove the glue that was remaining on the tank. When all glue was removed I polished the tank. Done and with no evidence that it had ever happened!

Excellent, sounds positive. Looks like i'll be begging the wife for the use of her hair dryer then, lol! Thanks Rob :thumbup

That's basically the plan... lets just hope i don't break it, otherwise i'm for it :kicknuts

Your life would not be worth living! Also don't leave any kind of dirty marks or bike lube on it either or you'll get a :whipping

Rob :)
