Hi Folk's,
After taking my 2000 RSVR out for a run today, the red line light is coming on at 6000rpm, first noticed it in top gear when it was showing an indicated 100mph, only thing I changed over the winter was a new clutch and a Leo Vince end can. Any help ?????

I've got the handbook thank's, I'll check it out, must have reset when I disconnected the battery at the start of winter, connected up new lead's for one of that new oppimate thing's, very good. thank's again, let you know if it work's.

flashing red light is an indication, and does not stop you bike from revving I believe :)

Can be reset - most people aim for around 9500

Yep... that would do it :biggrin

Just a warning light mate - you have to reset it every time you disconnect the battery.
You might find this useful (although don't know what vintage yours is - think this is for pre-04s - anyone?)

Learn something new everday!! typical me not looking in the manual, thank's. at's it set @ 9500rpm, already for da spring.
