DUH! I just read that you aer talking about a rectifier, I thought you were talking about a stator.
TBH I dont know if a rectifier from a pre 2004 bike can be used.
I do know that on the AF1 (us) forum some owners are testing a non aprilia rectifier. appearently this one keeps the stator cooler which lowers they chance of a fried stator.
