Recommended a rear shock

Apart from Sachs and Ohlins ....that are hard to come by .... are there any others that will fit an 04 rsv

or get yours serviced for around £100 as that will be as good as new after:thumbup

you can also get a harder softer spring too so its made to measure for you weight etc.

the oe set up is really designed for around 12stone standard so tend to be on the soft side for most uk pie eaters lol

mines a Sachs shock .... can you get springs for that and serviced .....thought only ohlins was serviceable

this company quoted about £100 to do my sachs shock (so i did it myself see here http://rsvzone.com/forums/showthread.php?17765-hmm-how-do-i-service-this-then

i would not service the sachs shock as it is not so good as an ohlins and i doubt that they can be serviced properly coz i had problem to get my services because of no spare parts so i bought an ohlins
anyway i was looking for a new wilbers rear shock http://wilberssuspension.co.uk/ (go for type 641 http://wilberssuspension.co.uk/641.php for 600 EUR) until i found the ohlins for very cheap price

would like an ohlins but never see any for my year on eBay ....plenty of pre 04 shocks though

i was in oposite situation all were just 04+ just wait if you want to spare some bucks
