Hi Fordy,

Welcome to the RSVR club:thumbup. I'm 6'4" also and have a Y2K RSVR, I've fitted a set of Sato Racing rearsets which I paid about £190 on ebay for them, they are about £300 new. They are good quality and do offer a fair amount of scope for adjustment and they look pretty good too. The Gilles ones look as though they offer about the same amount of adjustment and are of similiar quality and price (approx £300 new).

If you are looking to just move the original pegs back and down then you could probably get a set of plates, I've seen them for other makes of bikes at a cost of £40 to £50 for a pair. They are just an Alloy plate with several sets of tapped holes in them and they bolt on to your frame and your pegs bolt onto the plates. I'm sure someone must make them for an RSVR?:O

Have fun on the Mille and post some pics.

Cheers
Chris

Hi Fordy,

The rearsets will fit both RSV and RSVR however don't think the newer '04 to '07 model rearsets will fit the '98 to '03 models though. Keep any eye out on Ebay they come up for sale on a regular basis.

Cheers
Chris

Another good choice is acculign rearset. I am 6'2" and they work great for me with ample downward and rearward adjustment.
