Can i get a replacment from the bearing company? or will I have to go to Aprilia??

Is this suppose to turn Aswell??

and how should I lube the sprocket carrier rubbers? with moly grease?

Cheers

Tim, bearings here mate - Click Me and you can lube the inners of the rubbers using a small amount of copperslip mate.

Get some new 10mm stainless nylock nuts for your sprocket carrier whilst your working in that area. :thumbup

Tim, those cush drive rubbers look like they have the inners separating slightly, or is it the images?

If they look a little worse for wear then bin them mate.

All ordered M8 thanks for the help.

I might try and do a How to ( not) on replacing them.

Just read in the Haynes manual that I need a bearing puller is this true or is there a method?

Tim, these bearings are a snug fit and you shouldn't need any special tools at all to remove and fit them.

Although I do recommend that you make up some sort of puller from a piece of threaded bar rather than swinging a club hammer in the vicinity of your wheel and new bearings.

Tim are you a

Give it some welly mate, you can do it mate.

If you lever down with a bar remember not to lever against the wheel, use a block of wood to protect the wheel. :thumbup

Ill get the 2 metre breaker bar that ive got in the van on it that should shift it!!!

Measure the spacer washer and see what the outer diameter is and that's what size seal you need.

I suppose a previous owner could have fitted modified parts.
